Argument inside Haywood Mall store leads to shooting in parking garage

An argument inside a Haywood Mall store led to a shooting in the parking garage on the Fourth of July, Greenville Police Department officials said Monday.

Sgt. Johnathan Bragg said Allen Austin, 21, is wanted and faces two active warrants with charges of two counts of attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Investigators arrested and charged Tyler Floyd, 22, with discharging in the city and malicious damage, Bragg said.

The shooting happened Saturday afternoon at the mall's parking garage next to Dillard's, Bragg said.

Warrants said the two men got into a verbal altercation at the Footlocker store inside the mall.
