A former mixed martial arts fighter may not be throwing punches anymore instead she's delivering hair cuts and shaves in Spartanburg.
Ashley Rushing says she fought for more than 10 years. She was known as Dollface during her MMA days. But a back injury pushed her to step away from fighting.
"The first year was pretty rough just because the lifestyle, a little over 10 years kind of being in the gym, working in the gym, living in the gym," Rushing said.
So she took up another skill of hers.
"I've always done hair and was cutting the guys hair in the gym," said Rushing. "So I just knew that was kinda the route that I was gonna take."
