This is a tragic story about a life lost and a young man who is facing some very serious charges. According to investigators, 17 year old Caleb Kennedy drove his truck onto a private driveway off West Murph Road in Spartanburg County around 12:40, Tuesday and his truck went into a building on that property. Inside the building was 54 year old Larry Duane Parris who was injured and later died at the hospital. The incident is under investigation. Kennedy's bond hearing is likely to happen later today. He has been charged with driving under the influence resulting in death.
