Mary J. Blige was welcomed with endless applause the moment she walked onstage singing "Real Love." But the excitement increased once she mentioned the name of a "special friend" who would soon join her onstage, Prince. 

Hoping to capture the moment Prince walked onstage, everyone in the arena pressed record on their phones because they could not believe their eyes. Neither could we, Mary truly shocked everyone!

After Mary J. Blige sang "Sweet Thing" by Chaka Khan and Rufus, with Prince on guitar, she politely asked if he'd also perform a duet with her. Instead of speaking into the microphone, Prince kindly whispered his response to Mary.

He agreed and the crowd was pleased to hear Mary J. Blige suggest that they sing her favorite song, "Nothing Compares 2 U".
