Country superstar Zac Brown felt like doing a little bowling this weekend ... so he greased up a little person and BOWLED him at some pins ... and it was all caught on tape!!! It all went down at the the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota ... where Zac was enjoying the "Midget Bowling" tournament at the M F'N Bowling tent. For the record, events involving the tossing or throwing of little people is generally frowned upon by the little person community ... but event organizers insist "Midget Bowling" is perfectly legit. In fact, TMZ spoke with "Short Sleeve Sam" -- the self-described "midget" at the center of the action -- who tells us he was a ready and willing participant in the activity ... and insists Zac didn't do ANYTHING wrong. Sam claims "midget bowling" is safer than "midget tossing" because the little people are never airborne ... "it's just a modified slip and slide." As for Zac, Sam says he's PROUD of the "Chicken Fried" singer ... 'cause he hit a strike on his very first roll.

Move over Garth and Shania...Looks like Tim and Faith are movin' to Sin City!

Las Vegas’ Venetian Hotel is said to be making an announcement this week about the biggest musical event in its history — and we think it’s safe to assume that they’ll be publicizing a Tim McGraw and Faith Hill residency in Sin City.
According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, tomorrow (August 7) the Venetian will host a press conference to officially confirm the rumors that have been flying for several months.
Robin Leech — former host of ‘Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous’ — first speculated about the powerhouse couple’s residency with an article in the Sun paper in May. Leech wrote that the King and Queen of honky tonk had slated several performance dates for a 1,800-seat theater on the strip the city of sin. But so far, despite how much fans may want to see this husband-wife duo take the stage, nobody has been able to really etch the buzz in concrete.
But it seems likely that Mr. and Mrs. McGraw will soon add their star power to the growing number of country music acts already taking place in Vegas. Garth Brooks was coaxed out of retirement by a five-year deal to play the 1,500-seat Encore Theater, and Shania Twain is part of an all-star lineup, including Celine Dion and Elton John, that will share the Colosseum this fall.
For McGraw, a Las Vegas residency will come on the heels of a busy summer playing sold-out venues with Kenny Chesney on the Brothers of the Sun Tour. After filming an episode of ‘Austin City Limits’ tonight, McGraw’s next gig is August 10, which will give him a few days off to — hopefully — make an announcement about a temporary move to Las Vegas with his equally talented wife.

So where does one go to escape from the drama and mend a broken heart? To his pal and "Water for Elephants" co-star Reese Witherspoon's house, of course.
According to People, Pattinson has been hiding out at Witherspoon's Ojai, Calif., vacation home since he was reportedly blindsided by news that Stewart had cheated on him with her "Snow White and the Huntsman" director, Rupert Sanders.
"There was no sign that either of them was unhappy," a source close to the actor told People. "He would have done anything for her."

Here's the story we shared with you this morning about "Krypto"
GREENVILLE, S.C. --
At Greenville County Animal Care, there's a dog of a different kind that's standing out this summer. "I got a call from our vet techs saying you've got to come see this," says Susan Bufano, community relations coordinator for the shelter. "I went to the lost and found area, and I discovered a cute white dog with a cape. Yes, a cape," she laughs.
The pit bull mix was found abandoned in a local Walmart parking lot, along with the fashion fit for a powerful pooch. "Every now and then you'll have one show up with a sweater," says Bufano. "But I've never seen one show up with a cape!"
Veterinary technicians quickly gave the dog a fitting name: Krypto. "It made perfect sense," says Bufano. The new addition, lovingly referred to as the shelter's "super hero" dog, is also a bit super shy. "He was real scared when he came in, so he'd just shake," remembers tech Carolyn Davenport. She jokes, "He does have super powers though. They include being super sweet, and super stick by you no matter what."
Krypto will be ready for adoption Friday, and Bufano says, no matter where he ends up, he'll keep what he came with. "Whereever he goes, he'll have his cape ready for him," she says. "He just needs a Superman or Superwoman to come and adopt him."
