Photo: Arizona's Queen Creek High School has an undefeated football team this season . . . and the team's quarterback, Carson Jones, is taking a stand against bullying. Chy Johnson is a 16-year-old special-needs student at the school who was being bullied . . . because she has a brain disorder called microcephaly, which makes her head smaller than normal. Earlier this year, some girls threw garbage on Chy during lunch. So Chy's mother emailed Carson and asked him if he could find out who was picking on her daughter. Instead, Carson took matters into his own hands. He invited Chy to sit with the team at lunch the next day. She's had lunch with them every day since. They also keep an eye on her in the hall, to make sure there's no trouble between classes.

This is a touching story, and a big step forward in the fight against bullying. In Arizona, at Queen Creek High School, Chy Johnson suffers from a brain disorder and has been tormented by bullies. She is 16 years old, and no later than she enrolled in Queen Creek, that she was being bullied. She even said one student threw a trash can at her!

Well her mom had had enough, and called a family friend, the HS Star Quarterback of the Queen Creek Football Team, Carson Jones. She asked him to tell her the names of the bullies, but he went a step further. Carson took it upon himself and the entire football team to protect Chy. Ever since that day, Chy has sat with them at lunch and the football team has kept a close eye on her. They say the bullying has virtually stopped.
