Oh the power of social media! You can literally be connected to anyone in the world thanks to Facebook and Twitter. And now Randy Houser reveals to Albright & O'Malley & Brenner that he met his now wife, Jessa, on Twitter:
“We did. We actually met on Twitter, yeah. She had messaged me. [She] had a tweet out there or something that she had loved one of the songs that was on my last record. And it was one of those songs that I had written that nobody had really paid much attention to,” Randy tells Dan Van from Albright & O’Malley & Brenner.
Randy took notice of how much Jessa was into his music.
“It was a song that I really loved, and it hit me that she had recognized that song and I sent a message back and I said, ‘Thank you for recognizing this particular song’ because it was one of my favorites’. And she tweeted back, and we just started talking. That’s how it started.”
Randy and Jessa welcomed their son ‘West’ on March 6th and celebrated their first wedding anniversary on September 3rd in 2012.
