Rocker Steven Tyler turned the airwaves blue on TV on Friday by cursing
during a live broadcast of the "Today" show.
Aerosmith made a rare early morning appearance on the program to promote
their upcoming album "Music from Another Dimension!" with an outdoor
performance, but producers got a little more than they bargained for when Tyler
appeared to forget the show was being aired live.
Singer Tyler declared, "Good morning America!" before the program cut to a
weather update, which was when he dropped the f-bomb.
Weatherman Al Roker was giving out the latest climate information to viewers
when Tyler was heard off camera telling the waiting crowd, "Thanks for coming
out, you crazy f**ks! We love you! New York City!"
Roker completed the forecast before trying to laugh off the incident,
quipping, "That's why they haven't done mornings!"
The band later went on to perform hits such as "Walk This Way" and "Sweet
Emotion," as well as new song "Lover Alot" and tracks from their latest
album.
