Miranda Lambert hasn't been married to Blake Shelton for a full two years, but the country singer admits to the Feb. 11 issue of Us Weeklythat she had moments where she was unsure it would last. Us Weekly, released on Feb. 1, reports that it wasn't just a one-time thought. It was more like “a million.”

Grammy winning Lambert, who met Blake Shelton in 2005, dished that the first year of their marriage was extremely difficult. Shelton was off filming “The Voice” in Los Angeles while Miranda was on the road touring. Miranda calls that time the “seven-year-ache.”

The duo celebrated their first anniversary last May. During their celebration the pair was able to look back over the year and realize they had made it. Lambert says “everything has been great since.” If Miranda and Shelton go through another rough patch she’s ready to do whatever it takes to push through it. “Divorce isn't an option!” she exclaims.

So what are the couple’s secrets to a long-lasting marriage? Lambert says they are allowed to “snoop” through each other’s phone and they never spend more than two weeks apart. They also “text a lot” to stay in constant contact; no matter where they are.

“I think it’s important as a married couple to be friends,” she says.
